I went into a panick when I noticed something was eating all my seedlings in my garden at night. This was new and has never happened before. We set out cameras and found we had a rat infestation. We bought 2 different brands of bait stations. These I found were easier to open (better than Protecta). Large holes so rats and mice can both fit. But the best part is the plastic key is very easy to use and only have to use minimal pressure vs the Proteca traps that made my hand very sore with their metal key (I am a woman). I bought 6 of these and 6 of the other brand. FYI this brand gives you a key for every station and the Protecta gives you one key for all six stations. I just wish there was a bait window to see what’s been eaten so I don’t have to open the boxes every week. We’ve already found a few dead rats around our yard. And my plants have been undisturbed since putting these station out around my front and back yard and I love that it’s safe for our dogs.
